There is creek that is flooding it and the people in the city no longer care about it.

Those people died for the South.

They literally went to war for your ancestors and put their lives on the line for you.

A level of respect is certainly in order.

I don't think anybody has tried to disrespect anything man. Just asking questions.

Has the creek never flooded before?

Is there some sort of "ethnic cleansing" in Lagrange that's pushing the city to want to relocate the graves?

Usually if something (buried remains) has been in place oh say for over 100 years it’s not usually best practice moving anything anywhere at that point.
Very expensive and nothing will go as planned because I’m assuming those pine boxes are no longer solid and will all fall apart.
Everyone like another poster respects our country’s veterans North or South but this is just a bad idea. Let them be.

No

They deserve no respect at all

Fvck them

A lot of folks are very happy they died a painful death on the Battlefield

How about saying this:

Simply obey our Govt, our Democratic Process, and our President at that time - Lincoln ,and no one would have needed to die for the South after all weren't we supposed to be the UNITED States of America?

They went to war for GREED

To maintain an evil "status quo" that allowed them to build a certain way of life that they became accustomed to

Those racist confederates didn't die for future generations of AMERICANS, they fought & died for their own selfish reasons

AMERICAN HEROES that fought in The Revolution, The War of 1812 ,WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and other Conflicts died for future generations of Americans

Don't try and group in treasonous azzholes with great AMERICANS that deserve to be honored every day in perpetuity

Simple request:

Be better
