Counting Texas as a top 25 win

Probably should have questioned counting Texas as a Top 10 win.

Regardless, LSU 2019 had more top 10 wins than any of them. Even if you give the others the benefit of the doubt and presume they win both games in a hypothetical playoff, they still don't have as many top 10 wins.

LSU 2019 had the greatest season of all time.

Are they the greatest TEAM of all time? We'll never know. Football has changed drastically. Comparing 2019 LSU to 1908 LSU, for example.

1908 LSU - 10-0
Average score - 44.2 to 1.1 (7 shutouts, no one score more than 5 - two games LSU scored over 80)
Closest margin of victory - 8 points
No polls for rankings. Gave Auburn their only loss of the season. Only team to score on Auburn all season.

2019 LSU - 15-0
Average score - 48.4 - 21.9
Closest margin of victory - 3 points
Gave Clemson their only loss of the season.

So, is your question "Who would win if they played each other?" 2019 LSU would, of course.

Is your question, "Who dominated their opponents more?" Then the answer is 1908 LSU.
