Well Kirby would be a fool to not start spreading it out. The game has passed the era of grinding it out and playing defense

Georgia spreads it out a lot. That isn't the issue.

People act like UGA is running the offense Les Miles did at LSU. That's far from the truth. There isn't even a fullback on UGA's team.

I don't know that that's entirely true. I think a balanced offense can still often find itself in situations where a good downhill running game can put them in a position to win. The problem for Georgia this year was that without the threat of a downfield throw, they were not balanced, and it made defense against them fairly easy to gameplan for.
