Can we agree that it was a miss eval on our part and not the kids fault??

Shane Lee is elite between the ears and is a dude. He just needs to change his body, get leaner and MUCH more flexible, and see what it takes him.

If we recruit folks like skinny CBs and QBs, knowing they need a year or 2 to get their body right to play the game, let's give Shane Lee the same opportunity rather than bash him.

The kid was put in a SUPER tough spot, and he played with heart and class. I still hope he can get where he needs to get physically.

Also look at the amount of snaps Lee played compared to the 2018 and 2017 starters.

Only Mack Wilson played more snaps than Lee did. Hell of a tough spot to be forced into especially as a true freshman.

SDH and Lee share some similar qualities as ILBs, and SDH had to change his body when he got to Bama. He gained too much weight and was "stiff" in camps and games his senior year of HS.

Not saying Lee is gonna be SDH, but he's got a few years to turn it around...
