Clemson offered first. We were both late to the dance. Clemson has a commit early, C. Richardson who had a faulty transcript so we had to back off. ETN was a fallback. LSU missed on a different RB (Cam Akers maybe?).

The timeline is out there. Miles didn’t pay any attention to him. O offered a few weeks before Clemson did, but wasn’t pressing for a commitment to try and land Akers. All kinds of kids get offers, but they only matter if they are commitable offers and his wasn’t until Akers was gone. He didn’t like being the back up plan. By the time O started trying to recruit him harder, he was looking elsewhere. It happens.

It may be that he also didn’t like that LSU offered CEH and took his commitment well before Akers. As good as Etienne is, I wouldn’t swap them due to how well Clyde has fit in this offense.

I fully agree with you. CEH has done an amazing job in the role that the offense has placed him in. He is perfect for what we do. I truly hope Clemson has the audacity to blitz Joe because Clyde will put up 250 yards on them of they do. He's the better player for us without question.

Go mother fricking Tigers!
