Just need to get the softness out of the guards. Toughen them sumbitches up. Stop complaining, and scratch and claw for a rebound.

quote:

his is why Arkansas doesn't get offensive rebounds, they are not emphasizing offensive rebound because the majority of the shots are are going to be 3s or long twos which lead to long rebounds, so you send the guards back after the shot and sacrifice rebounding opportunities in order to have an opportunity to set your defense.

Defensive rebounds.

and Muss said....

"“Obviously, we got annihilated, destroyed, whatever word you want to use on the glass,” Musselman said Thursday. “We still played a 2-point game against a really good team and had an opportunity to win, which I think anybody in any sport when you go on the road you want to give yourself an opportunity at the end of the game. The effort was outstanding. Anybody that watches us play talks about how hard we play. We just didn’t rebound the ball at all. When I mean at all, I could take five of us in the media right now, and we could have defensive rebounded just as good as our team did last night.”
