It would be agressive shot but could have good upside

Aranda and elko are the two best defensive coordinators, I have no idea why either hasn’t gotten the call.

Aranda doesn't seem like a hot commodity. Doesn't get many looks at power 5 job openings.

No one wants a middle of the pack DC.

The fact that Cohen isn’t considering Mike Leach is ridiculous. Between the Andy Cannizzaro debacle and his handling of Moorehead, I’m shocked he is being allowed to make this decision.

Matt Wyatt was on a local station earlier this week and scoffed at the idea that State needed a guy like Leach to out-scheme the other SEC coaches. I had no idea State fans were so delusional.

Aranda’s defense is water trash. He gave up 400 yards to our 4-8 freshman backfield. The glitz and appeal of Aranda is no more.

Aranda may be happy right where he is at.....and he is making a bunch of moolah to do what he does.

You don’t know that they haven’t.
Not all communication is public—even in the insta-age.
He may have politely declined; end of story.
