Texas aTm has no business being in the SEC

I like A&M in the SEC, but that may be because I've always enjoyed the games between LSU and A&M long before they were in our conference.

I do think, however, that the conference is too damned big. Fourteen teams is just too many to build a good conference schedule around. Twelve conference members should be the limit before splitting the conference into two completely different conferences. But to be honest, a ten team conference seemed best.

I'd release Mizzou and Arky before A&M, but Arky has been here longer so that would seem unfair. USCe is at least in the south east, so there's no real argument to try to oust them.

Aggy has been pretty decent since their addition. Mizzou has never been a good fit, even by their own admission. And despite the idea that having Mizzou gives the SEC a presence in the STL and KC television markets, those two markets aren't exactly big on college sports.

The SEC just needs to make a decision about limiting the conference to twelve teams should any of the late-comers such as USCe, Arky, Mizzou, or A&M ever decide to leave. Sure as hell, though, we don't need to add anyone else to the conference unless we decide to leave the NCAA as a group and start our own college athletic association.

A&M v. LSU has always been a natural and long-term rivalry, since 1899.

We're not leaving. We should have been SEC for 100 years.
