Kirby is too way smart to ever want to be a pro coach. He is in his dream job at his alma mater and I expect him to stay until he is old and grey. Unlike Florida we keep our coaches for years. Heck even when they do leave coaching most stay in the Athens area. Dooley, Donnan and Goff still call Athens home. When you can live and work in Athens why would anyone want to take on a pro team. None leave us for other jobs. AU couldn’t lure Dooley back to the toilet paper throwing capitall of S Alabama for a cool million dollars in the early 80 s - and that was when a million was big money! They know a good thing when they experience it and they either retire or are fired after a lengthy stay.

Maybe that’s why you haven’t won a national championship in like 40 years.

I hope this is true. That means we only have to get through Bama, Auburn and Florida to make it to the playoffs because the SEC championship game is a given. Big Mo Kirby is absolutely no threat with his slower, less powerful version of the Les Miles run, run, pass and punt offense.
But look on the bright side, with all the practice your defense gets and time on the field, the stats can mount up and you get a moral victory when your defense leads in many categories.
When a defense spends as much time on the field as a Georgia defense does, the stat line is loaded.
