Tommy is awful, KT never even got a chance even though his average yardage was better. Had Mullen stayed, KT would have been better than Fitz.

Pure speculation and against the facts too. He was and is a 46% passer. Even your own writers told you that in spring it wasn't even close as to who was better.
You are looking for an excuse and cutting your nose off in spite of your face.
I hope you make a great hire. But it won't matter. He won't be allowed the time to implement a new system. You have created a worse problem. A fan base like UT's.
