Nope. Chizik was a Broyles Award winner and had the #1 defense in the nation as a DC. Dude knows his football. He is just not head coach material.
Also Chiz went back to North Carolina and improved that defense. The one year they went to thr ACC CG Chiz was the DC.
Has Eddie O ever even called plays?

I would absolutely take Chizik as Alabama'S DC right now over Golding.
