I hate the targeting rule. MSU player lays out the UL guy and the whole UL bench starts pointing for a flag. Just accept the badass tackle and move on to the next play. Targeting should only apply to egregious plays like the hit on CEH, making it a strategy to extend a failed drive ruins what football is.

Football is dangerous. Everyone knows this now. Either play or don’t play, but you cannot legislate safety in an inherently violent sport.
