I mean nobody can seriously question that a factor in going to a place like Clemson is that your risk of injury is lower and you get to show out against far inferior competition. You’re not risking as much. I’m not sure if that’s character or not, but it’s definitely something.

Because the 6'3", 300lbers in the SEC are taller and heavier than the 6'3", 300lbers in the ACC right?

ACC outside of Clemson is pure trash

I'll give Clemson credit, they're an elite team (exactly why ND is scared to join the ACC)

No they wouldn’t. Plus I don’t see three western Carolina on notre dame schedule like the sec does

Actually doesn’t notre dame usually schedule pretty tough. Better than all the power five schools? Maybe when they got stuck with acc teams it went down

So are we gonna pretend that the big uglies at UF, UGA, Bama, LSU, AU, et al aren’t any better at aggressively busting people in the mouth than the big uglies at ... Wake, UVA, the Cuse? It is what it is. Some teams have easier roads.

To play in the SEC a man has to put his soul at hazard. He has to say, okay, I’ll be a part of this world.
