Actually she did go to the game and they have lots of video of her yelling for Ole Miss and she has stated they are her favorite football team. She did stay the night and was all over the Square. Ole Miss beat Bama that day as she predicted.
Her predictions were better than most of the experts that day. That gig got her the Super Bowl halftime that year.

I remember that Game Day well, unfortunately!
Who was your QB then? She had a mad crush on him at the time too. I remember her going on and on about him, just can't remember who it was and don't feel like looking it up!
