When they say “dealer tag” do they mean an actual dealer license plate, or a temporary tag? The way the article reads (officer was trying to see the expiration date) makes me think it was just a temporary paper tag

Well how come the officer said he was looking for the expiration date on the tag? He was also able to call in the tag regarding inssurance...which means it was a temp tag.
