Petrino is a true offensive genius, especially with the passing games, unlike all of these RPO coaches, who coach to throw the ball in the air and recruit tall receivers to fight for them. He micromanages his offense, which works for him. His QB's are precise and receivers catch the ball without breaking stride.
But the bias against him is heavy. Every call that could go either way, almost always goes against Petrino, along with some that are just clearly wrong. He's good at evaluating talent, but he hates recruiting and I think that would have caught up with him at Arkansas.
