here are the defensive players who’ve been invited (where they finished)

2012 Manti Te’o (2nd)
2011 Honey Badger (5th)
2009 Ndamukong Suh (4th)

Proof the story is worth more than the production alot of the times with the Heisman


Neither of those guys were even all that dominant that season

Name brand is everything. Imagine if TM7 played for OSU or ND. You really have to rip the trophy from these brands hands to get the trophy.
