It was the worst class in the recruiting rankins some where in the 50s besting Petrino's 48th ranked class. It may have moved up with non-qualifiers elsewhere well after NSD.
Of course that was in no way a tell of Chad's competence as he knew about all of the guys in Texas that would have signed with Arkansas before anyone else, but they wouldn't sign with SMU so he wasn't recruiting them.

It seems with the type of backs we’re recruiting we wanna he able to run the ball right at people. I like that we’re going after 2 guys who are at or over 200 pounds. I think when a lot of people think spread they think jet sweeps and flashy fast offenses but I think where teams that go tempo can really hurt you is when they have a bruiser who they can pound you with all game picking up 4 or 5 at a time. Think tre mason at auburn. Just demoralizing to have to tackle a guy like that all game especially in the 4th when your tired and gassed and they just keep going tempo and the big back keeps hitting you in the teeth. No matter what offense or defense you run I think the best way to when at football is to be more physical than your opponent and so far that’s why I think Pittman is trying to establish and I love it

If they have his papers then they know it’s a done deal similar to when people around Georgia knew Evans sent his papers in even though he denied it.

Khaki Johnson, our newest commit, was just offered by UGA. Maybe Pittman should walk back his I’d never recruit UGA commits unless they contacted me comment.

I found it interesting they are pursuing OL Marcus Henderson now too.
As for Khari maybe it will help the recruiting sites view of him as a 2* but I doubt it because they are lazy unless a late addition to one of the top teams.
