No he's not. I don't think he will make SC turn around as much as he is predicting, but Bobo is a solid OC.

I don't know if you are just trolling him or you honestly believe it, but Bobo is solid. Maybe not spectacular, but he will immediately improve SC's offense.

Maybe not awful, but average. He had Gurley at RB on the goal line against USC and never gave him the ball. He called draw plays every time it was 3rd and 7+. College football is changing and Bobo's offense is a thing of the past.

You pick one play and label him awful...then average?

We had some of the most prolific offenses Georgia has ever had under Bobo. He was a finalist for the Broyles Award given to the top OC in the country in 2012.

Was he flashy? Did he throw the ball around a lot and run an air raid type offense? No.

And, honestly, was his success due to the insane amount of talent he had on offense or was it because he was just good? I don't know. I would say he was a solid OC that seemed to be improving every year. He developed QBs very well with Stafford, Murray and Greene.

Our offense has probably taken a step back almost every year since he has left. I just think it is a disservice to dismiss him as awful or even average.
Our fans never appreciate good to very good coaches or players, for some reason. We seem to always look at better options around the country instead of enjoying the success our own players/coaches achieve.

THIS would be my concern, and I tend to agree with this. However, he just might be able to adjust and grow. We don't know yet. He will do fine at SC, though. They made a good hire. I would rather have him than Coley or Schottenheimer.

I thought we would miss Chaney when everybody was celebrating, and it took us less than a year lament the Coley hiring. It doesn't matter who we would hire after Coley, we would not be happy. I can't think of the last offensive coordinator our fan base was happy with. Crap, our Dline played lights out this year and we have people complaining about Tray Scott.
