Sterk won’t be around when we can finally fire Cuonzo. Perhaps will get lucky and get somebody competent to hire our next basketball coach

Sterk is a good AD. Mizzou will be making a mistake if they run him off.

Jury is still out. This week will tell us a lot. The AD is not leaking like it did under Mike Alden at least.

You can’t chase sterk our just because who he picks. You gotta give the coach a year or 2 before deciding

I think it is too soon to jump all over Sterk. Depends on what he does here on football and how long his leash is on Martin.
At the time, Martin was a solid hire. I think you give Martin one more year. He can't seem to recruit though, so I don't see Martin sticking around long.

I think Martin gets two to three more years. Almost regardless of outcome.

I don't necessarily disagree. I am not against Martin getting a couple more years, but it sure seems like he is swinging and missing on the recruits in STL. Would like to see him get a few of those fellas.

Unless he decides to do a 180 on his philosophy, the elite local talent isn't going to play for him.

So past results not count? History proven this to be the case and it is so bad because of bad hires repeatedly! Fans not going to the games because of that!

You used to be much smarter about your posts, I dont know what happened.
The short answer is no. You cannot penalize Sterk on who he hires on the day of. You can question the hell out of it, but you cant fire him right off the bat for it.
