Would Aggies want to play Texas in a bowl?

I heard the SEC blocked this from happening in the 2014 Texas Bowl and probably will again this year. My A&M and UT relatives/friends are all for it, idk what the SEC's objection is

A&M/SEC already offered to meet them in the Texas Bowl. tu said no thanks. They want no part of Jimbo.

Lol really? I think all the fans want it. Would be a huge boon for the bowl and sports bars all over Texas

Many of us really don't care about that game anymore, on both sides.

I'm ok playing them in a bowl game, but after the crap Deloss Dodds pulled after we left for the SEC, I'm good not scheduling them in the near future

Why have bowl games, if a game like this -- with these teams, in that city -- can't be scheduled? Serious question.

Thats one way to look at it, another way (one i feel like most of us would) is i would like to beat the piss out of them and prove were the better in state school and in the better conference, yall fvcked up. I think your real reservation is that they will probably win and it might be another decade before you get the chance to avenge it. As it stands you can look at the records since youve left and assume yall are probably the better school. Thats fine... cowardly but fine.

I don't think many LSU fans consider A&M a rival, I certainly don't. Not trying to troll yall, it just doesn't have the rivalry feel for me like Ole Miss and Bama do: The SEC is trying to force it like they did with LSU-Arkansas. Maybe Arkansas-A&M is something of a rivalry from the SWC days?
