Existing Personnel & Recruiting Impact / Fan Engagement

A few questions and thoughts:
Is it possible to salvage a top 25 recruiting class with any of the candidates that have been floated?
Who gives us the best chance to keep our existing players on the team and engaged?
Keith cited fan apathy as the main reason for making a change at HC. I really think he will make a splash with this hire (Norvell, Kiffin, or Napier). Of those three, who do you think will reenergize the fan base the most?

Any of the top 3 would do it

I don't know why some people are down on Napier. I think he's going to be really good wherever he goes

So with early signing day a few months away, a top 25 class is possible?

I think the biggest splash with the current players would probably be Norvell. In terms of fans, I'd probably have to go with Kiffin.

Norvell has recruited most of our class, so at least they would be familiar. Doesn’t mean they want to play for him. Kiffin seems like he would be a bit of a “star chaser” like Freeze.

Would a star chaser be a bad thing? I mean Luke was all about a team full of 3*'s as long as they were from Mississippi.

Neal thinks Kiffin wouldn't chase stars like freeze. That he has a "really good concept of kids he can get"

Other than being handsome I don't get the hype for Kiffin. I'll take Napier over Kiffin. Maybe Florida State will take him.

Star chasers are winning. James Franklin was even doing it at Vandy. Luke’s 3 star teams couldn’t even win 6 games

I think there has to be a balance between the two. Mississippi still doesn’t get scouted very much, there are players every year who make big rating jumps after their senior year. I think there will be a few after the MS/AL game next week. But you can’t make a team out of that, and you can’t get 50 something 4 or 5 stars to Ole Miss either

1. Wondering if any of the decommits will reconsider, if rumors are true and Kifin becomes HC? And, more importantly, do we want them back?
2. Was hoping Kifin has some players that he's recruited to FAU that might come along with him. Checked 247 and FAU was ranked 9th in Conf USA for 2020. Nine recruites, all 3 stars. Might be something there, might not. Did notice that Frank Gore Jr. is one of his recruits.
