And I applaud them for that. I don't want some trained soldiers roaming the streets beating the shite out of people with zero repercussions. Their job is to protect and serve, and in THIS case, no one needed protection except maybe Harris himself, so if they can get him help without force, that's what they should do. I hope Harris gets the help he needs.

EDIT: Like others are saying, the cop also could have done a better job trying to de-escalate the situation. The grappling bit wasn't a smart move. I'm just glad they kept their cool, and we didn't see another unnecessary death.

Lucky for Harris there were three and not one cop or two. Otherwise he might not be doing time above ground.
