Cops are having to walk on egg shells these days due to our pussy society. 20 years ago they would have pulled out some billy clubs and beat the shite out of him. Which is what he should have gotten. I dont care who he is.
Its just another result of our shitty society and everyone crying and getting their way. There are no leaders and no authority anymore.

I generally back the po and don't have a huge problem with that video but the cop continued aggression a couple of times when it looks like maybe the situation could have been diffused. But hard to say for sure without being able to hear what was going on.

This is some boot licking, authority loving, boomer shite if I ever saw it. Jesus. Their job is to protect and serve, not satisfy your blood lust.
From ESPN:
And I applaud them for that. I don't want some trained soldiers roaming the streets beating the shite out of people with zero repercussions. Their job is to protect and serve, and in THIS case, no one needed protection except maybe Harris himself, so if they can get him help without force, that's what they should do. I hope Harris gets the help he needs.
EDIT: Like others are saying, the cop also could have done a better job trying to de-escalate the situation. The grappling bit wasn't a smart move. I'm just glad they kept their cool, and we didn't see another unnecessary death.
