Against what many feel are 3 of the top 4 defenses in the SEC this year, Auburn, Florida and Bama. What will happen on Saturday against Georgia?

Bama’s defense is soft as butter outside Jennings

Georgia’s total defense ranking will drop about 10 spots after playing LSU Saturday.

I laugh to keep from crying. Decent coping mechanism.

If you are touting what you managed against BAMA’s defense this year as a big deal, you are setting yourself up for disappointment....

They've padded some stats against some pretty poor offenses.

Arkansas State, Murray State, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame for OOC. Notre Dame is the highest ranked offense they have faced this year at #47. Source.

They played Tennessee's backup Quarterback.

They played Missouri's backup Quarterback.

They played Kentucky's QB who is still listed as a WR. No, seriously.

They played South Carolina's Wildcat QB for ~2 quarters.

They played Florida's backup QB.

Vanderbilt. (1 - 7 in the SEC)

In fact, the only starting QB they played in the entire East was Vanderbilt, played 3 cupcakes as OOC and finished up with single possession wins against the West.

That is as much of a paper tiger as you will find outside of Clemson this year.

Bama still ranked in the top 20 defensively. That’s way way way better than any offense the UGA defense has faced.

It's silly to compare our defense to Georgia's at all.

Has UGA faced an offense like this? not even close.................the score, which will favor LSU, will shock folks and be significantly inflated!

Total Offense UGA has faced:

Auburn: 53
Florida: 54
Notre Dame: 47
Texas A&M: 71
Kentucky: 81
Missouri: 94
South Carolina: 96
Tennessee: 100
Vandy: 123
Georgia Tech: 127
Murray State: NR

I'll take our battle tested offense over Georgia's defense. We've faced 3 top 20 defenses and averaged 37pts/521 yards in those games.

If 2019 Kellen Mond can put up 275 yards on that defense....yikes
