Well the next step is finding the right coach who can get the players he needs. Look at some of the smaller schools and you see them with all 2-3 star players, if that, playing with the larger schools. The system they play in can mean the world. It did for LSU.

Why did LSU hire O after his flop with the sharks?
Sometimes a person’s passion can be contagious. O loves LSU and it’s his dream job. He would rather be at LSU than be at Texas or Alabama or Michigan.
His heart and passion was contagious and inspired players to play greater than what the would expect they ever could.
His determination to keep his dream job meant that he would find a way to succeed. As long as he that passion, he will find others that will help him succeed.
Find a person that loves your state and school and is willing to put in the time and energy needed and he will have success.
Success may not be a championship every year but can be rewarding and entertaining.
Gus doesn’t win a championship every year but he loves being at Auburn and his team is successful every year.
Find a coach that is about more than himself and one not looking for a better job every day and you will find someone that can give you success.
Now the coach has to know his shite too of course but a passion and love of the game and the place he is at will go a long way.

He did a good job there his first 2 years. Problem is the same issues that killed him at UF still plague him now.
