I think the comparison is pretty accurate. People underestimate Ed’s intelligence because of the way he talks.

Day after his first Super Bowl win, Snake ran into Bear at a breakfast. First thing Bear said to him was "Boy, you need a haircut." Snake said damn right he went and got one that day, said he was still scared of him.
