Had to figure that was going to happen. Kind of feel bad for him, he walked into an absolutely terrible situation all because of his love for the alma mater

While not head coaching material, I really like Matt Luke. A lot.
Saban was in Oxford yesterday, I would be good money he is going to talk to him about joining the staff. He's a great DC, he's BIG on fundamentals, and his players play hard as hell for him.
Those Ole Miss teams were undermatched for days against Alabama and LSU this year, and they were shockingly punching above their weight.
As bad as our DC is, I'd give Luke the reigns and get these guys in shape for the season of their lives in 2020.

I thought that Luke was an offensive lineman and coach ? Maybe you mean MacIntyre who was their DC this past year. He did pretty well considering the lack of talent.
