Do they have 5 scholarship QBs? I wouldn’t think that teams would have 5 scholarship QBs unless they don’t believe in any of them.

When you've got 5 QBs, you've got 0 QBs.

Auburn had 5 different guys take a snap in one game. Clemson 2016. It didn’t work.

No.

Hicks and Starkel were transfers; KJ is the redshirting FR meant to address the long term issue at QB. John Stephen Jones is a legacy scholarship to keep Grandpa's money rolling in, and Lindsey was originally a legacy walk on, who has played his way into getting a shot.

And every time one of those QBs gets a chance to be the starter he promptly falls to pieces. The worst thing that can happen to an Arkansas QB is to get the attention of our offensive brain trust.

You laugh but all 8 QBs that Arkansas has had start a game the last two years has looked great coming off the bench and horrible once they were named the starter. We have the worst coaching staff, outside of Lunney with the TEs, in the country and it isn't even close.

The team's QB problems truly start from the snap. You saw even that brain damaged Aaron Taylor identified the snap as throwing off the timing of the offense, and really, the offensive line has been utter garbage. This leads to inexperienced QBs unable to trust the pocket, throwing off the wrong foot, having to throw on the move, and the 1st down running game getting the offense behind the chains on a regular basis. 3rd and long with skittish QBs isn't a recipe for doing a damn thing, especially when the defense gives up 38 PPG.

Arkansas won't start its recovery, until it recovers on the offensive line. No QB will change that. On the upside, they have one player who will ideally anchor the line for the next 3 seasons up there, but need to find more like him.

But they hire the best coaches and recruit the best players. Just ask practically any hog fan or media personnel when a coach is hired and a player signs the dotted line to commit.
