re: 8 team playoff

Well the first round of the playoffs start in next Saturday conference championship. So my opinion Notre Dame should be left out every year no matter their record, since they always miss the first round of playoffs. Second round all who qualify should be undefeated teams and 1 loss teams.
Should some how get to 6 teams, if it would be 8 teams needs to be more big comferences playing against one another. That would be 8 conference championships undefeated or 1 loss moves on unless there is a 2 loss team that won but a 1 loss team that did not get in the conference champ game would leap frog into the regular 4 team playoff at end of December. Needs to be some sort of change definitely change in scheduling.

Ohio St and Clemson played some cup cakes all year and hardly any of them ranked. Ohio St played their first ranked team all year in Penn St and barely won. Ohio St probably loses one of these next three games or all 3.
