Would the CFP Committee still have them at #4? Or at #3 above Clemson?
Gonna be a interesting weekend and then on the conference championships.

I would guess at #3. Schedule. In the long term it really doesn't matter. LSU could lose the SECCG and still go to the playoffs. Georgia cannot. Either team wins out and they go for sure.

Probably 3 with a much, much better chance of making the playoff regardless of what happens in Atlanta (barring a blowout loss).

It doesn't matter who is ahead of who in the top 4. If UGA wins, the top 4 is clear.
If LSU wins, then the only question is whether Bama/Utah/Oklahoma (maybe Baylor) goes. So, #5 is actually the only important ranking.

The only thing losing to SC did in regards to our playoff bid is ensure we don't get the peach bowl. It's kinda crazy that even wiht an atrocious loss it didn't really affect our playoff chances any. If we win next saturday we're in regardless, and if we lost the SECCG we'd be out regardless.

Clemson 2019 > Florida State 2014, but not by much.

Since we are doing hypotheticals here...
Where will UGA fall when they lose to LSU in Atlanta?
