SLU’s med school has actually had some accreditation issues recently. But it’s probably more administrative than anything.

Any of the med schools in state are good with Wash U being elite. Mizzou is probably slightly better than SLU. UMKC probably has the least impressive reputation, but that’s skewed because of research.

Yeah, I think that it was more of a "Hey! Keep progressing with the times!" wake up call. They never actually lost their accreditation. Having said that, they have lost some of their luster from a few decades ago. I think most rankings (for whatever that's worth) had them a tick higher than Mizzou but within 10 so I'd say if you're looking at it from an ROI perspective...go with Mizzou.
