If grant delpit wins the Thorpe, it’s gonna make me question the legitimacy of all of these awards.

He hasn’t even been a top 3 DB for LSU this year.

That’s wrong, but I agree he probably shouldn’t win the award

Lots of the awards were won the year before plus the preseason hype.

As an LSU fan; you would be upset with Grant winning this year? Honestly?

Joe Brady a lock for the Broyles. You should add that.

That would be sweet. I've enjoyed watching LSU's success from Rocky Top this season (well, Nashville, but close enough)

Please bring home the natty. I don't want any of those other count hairs winning it.

Not upset. I’d be happy for Grant. He deserved it last year to be honest. Just saying if it happened, I couldn’t view these awards as anything more than BS awards given out to big names. I mean I love Delpit, but he’s not close to the best DB this year. I don’t normally pay attention to these awards unless an LSU player is involved, so maybe they’ve previously also gone out to undeserving players, but this would be egregious.

No more so than most other years. It happens often enough that it wouldn't cause much reaction.

Don’t think so with his injuries. And playing through them.

But he hasn’t produced. I’m not saying he’s bad. I do think he’s battling through injuries and it’s effecting him. But how is that deserving of being recognized as one of the 3 best DB’s this year? This is an on the field award and he hasn’t done anything on the field to warrant that kind of consideration.

You need to check your facts. He’s a leading SEC DB right now even through injuries.

Yeah Delpit definitely doesn’t deserve the award this year. Last year yes but no way this year.

Exactly lol. Delpit had a bad like first 3 games due to injury and now people forget how good he is.
