Beamer struggled his final 4 years, but before that he was winning 10-11 games every year at VT. Fuente even had the good fortune of retaining Bud Foster and he still hasn't matched what Beamer did. That may be a little unfair, but how well do you think Fuente will do without Foster?

The one positive thing is that he allegedly sought Norvell's help, so maybe he won't stubbornly refuse to change, but then Chad sought out Gus when he was struggling, so I'm not sure that counts for much.
