Remember kids, NIT was/is the expectation for this team. Anything more would just be a cherry on top. I just don’t want you all to get your hearts broken again, like you do every fricking year... by buying into your own hype. Every year.

If you can't be a fan, and root for your team to win, what's the point of sports?

Not what I'm saying and you should direct a comment like this to all the folks that were rooting for our football team to lose not this guy. I can be a fan and be a realistic fan. Realistic expectations minus alcohol has helped me to enjoy sports again without melting like a child at the first hint of adversity. I used to jump of the fan cliff every week; no more.

I'm curious to see what happens when we're not clearly the better team. how they respond to that will be interesting. I do expect we'll be in better position to win some of those games but we aren't going to win them all this season.
