That's total bs. OSU lost 1 game last year and won the conference. THEY were left out because of a bad loss. It was the same thd year before.

They lost by 4 TDs

2014 Ohio State lost to 5-7 Virginia Tech at home they made the playoffs.
2016 Clemson lost at home to 6-6 Pitt they got in also.

So this isnt unprecedented
