Don't remember the details but the East had a winning record against the West in 2018.

East went 9-6 in 2018, counting A1abama's win against Georgia in the SEC title game.

You are correct sir, the East won the series 9-5 in 2018. The East needs a clean sweep of the last 4 games to take it this year, but I don't see Muschamp beating A&M in College Station. Although he did win last time he took a team there and it was against Johnny Football IIRC.
