Wouldn’t a better approach be to learn to detect disorders in the womb and then abort the defective fetus? There are enough humans on this planet. We’re approaching 8 billion for crying out loud. And we’re living longer.

Our efforts as an intelligent species are directed at producing unlimited numbers of humans, even at the expense of other species. This is having a detrimental effect upon the entire biosphere.
