Nature is cruel in causing humans and dogs both to be born with this disease for no discernable reason.
Sometimes science isn't pretty, but it's necessary to alleviate the suffering we as mortal species have to deal with on this planet. If you don't have the balls to do this kind of research, at least have the decency to appreciate those who do to make all of our lives better.

Nature is not sentient. Humans are. We’re also intelligent. What A&M is doing is crude science. Why not just breed humans for the same purpose? The Nazis did similar science. For dog lovers this amounts to bizarre and inhumane experimentation. Shame on A&M.
