Over the last decade would you rather have LSU’s general success in all the Big 3 sports or Bama’s record breaking success in football but abysmal results in the other Big 3 sports?

Personally I would choose football because I care about it roughly 1000x more than college baseball (although I do love basketball and hate the struggles we’ve had there).

Big 3. It's nice having something to watch almost year round and not twiddle your thumbs waiting on football season

That 2009 baseball championship seems so far away. Had we won a baseball championship more recently, I might go with the Big 3, but at this point, give me the football championships.

I would rather have LSU’s general success...

but I’m a baseball fan first and I don’t think my heart could deal with LSU baseball being what Alabama baseball has been.

So I probably don’t represent all LSU fans.

If I chose bama's football success do I also have to take the murder, bomb threats, & sexual assult that comes with it?

Big 3.

Alabana fans have 4 months of fun, 8 months of sorrow.

LSU fans have 12 months of partying.

In the 3653 days preceding today (10 years) LSU has won zero national titles in Football, Baseball, or Basketball

I would rather be an Alabama fan in the last decade because anything at all is better than zero

Football and IMHO not even close, Baseball is nice and so is Men's hoops (although we had a very long dry period until last 2 years), but nothing comes close, admire you guys and all the Nc's.

But you have NOTHING to get excited for in baseball or basketball season. I would get so fricking bored

not a fair question as pointed out

LSUs current Basketball projection with Will Wade
LSUs rollercoaster with Les and upswing with O
and Skips Baseball at LSU in the 90s

would take the cake for me
so yes everything the same but bring back LSUs dominant baseball run

Football is competitive and has a shot if things fall right to win the West most years

Basketball is a potential sweet 16 machine

and Baseball is a dynasty = LSU perfection

We would party and have fun regardless.

That’s why everybody wishes they could be an LSU fan.

It is all about healthy perspective. I’d rather continue excelling in all sports , not only because we enjoy the other sports, but because it keeps us from being myopic and cultish and attracting a trashy sidewalk culture. There is no way you guys could ever understand the purity of watching somebody like DJ Lamahieu or Alex Bregman take batting practice or having a legacy with guys like Shaw and Pete Maravich.

I always enjoyed when we had high end dual threats.
Watching Chad Jones pitch was a real joy for me.

It's probably a handful on the Rant could identify a starting pitcher on their teams. I would love for Bama to very good in basketball again though. Baseball meh... it's a boring niche sport it's fun to play but boring to watch. Even during the super regionals football related threads dwarf baseball related ones despite several SEC playing.

Big 3, Baseball is as important as football. I am still pissed about bbcore bats and cutting of scholarships.
