Knowing what we do now about Chad's ability to evaluate talent

How many of those dozens of players who transferred or left the team the past two years were better than what we have now? Probably a lot. Conventional wisdom thought they were "just Bert players" and that we were getting rid of dead weight, but now I think Chad and his staff just suck at talent evaluation and they weren't giving these guys a chance.
The quarterback situation got me thinking about this. KJ is obviously the best quarterback on our roster and he's just now getting to play, even after all the terrible quarterback play we've had in the first 8 games. Makes you wonder how many of those linebackers and linemen that left could be helping us right now if Chad knew how to evaluate talent.

I think there is a good possibility that many of the players who left, needed to do just that. I think Bielema’s style didn’t lend itself to recruiting the kind of players who give maximum effort at every opportunity. I think Morris probably expects, if not demands this, but probably goes about it in his very own shitty high school way.
I also think it quite possible that very few on the offensive side of the coaching staff have any kind of reference for SEC level talent, including the head coach. Think about it, don’t you think Morris probably believed that Hicks was going to take all that SMU experience and success, and just light up the SEC with Morris’ system?
It’s at least part of the reason Morris is bewildered, and completely at a loss right now. All the tricks, and plays, and offensive scheme (I’m being generous) that brought at least moderate success at SMU, is being shoved up his arse so far he can smell it. And he doesn’t have a clue how to make it stop.

They hired a coach with a losing record before they hired an AD.
This was all destined to fail from the start.

I can't think of any players that left that would have contributed much or made any impact this year.

Make you way to Razorback Stadium this weekend if you want to see the last time that Morris will ineptly try to coach the Razorbacks in Fayetteville.

Let's not forget the many 2nd half meltdowns under BB tenure.
Yes, some of it was due to coaching but I believe a culture or quitter mentality began to form and has carried over.
