Seeing as Jimbo has made his point with FSU about how much they need him, I believe he bails on A&M and returns to his dream job now that they are much more willing to meet his demands.
The question is how... I don't think losing out will get him fired, how would you do it if you were Jimbo?

If I'm Jimbo, I leave A&M however I want to because when I decide to walk away, I contractually owe them nothing. Not a single cent.
