Is Joey Gatewood an ideal Mullen QB?

I doubt Gus will slow him to come here, but it would be pretty cool if he does and turns out he’s a baller. Auburn got one of ours in Newton and we got one of theirs in Gatewood.

Mullen doesn’t typically go after transfer QBs.

Would be a slap in the face to Emory

I think he has potential as a runner probably. but isn't a passer. He is a frosh and don't know if he has r/sed or not, if he hasn't then he could r/s and be a soph, but don't like the idea of transfer QBs who are unhappy....he is going to look for immediate PT...we cant offer that.

Probably not.

Trask is fine if he doesn't go to the NFL early, Emory is going to be very good next year and after next year we will finally have a Mullen QB Room.

If the kid doesn't want to wait, he's coming to the wrong school.

Gatewood sucks at QB. Not a good passer. Mullen has AR coming in and Emory on deck.

Dude is an athlete though. Take him in a heartbeat to play TE.
