Auburn and Alabama are pretty much the same

According to the Wolfe, the ten best teams in America are:
1. Who cares?
2. The Ohio State
3. Penn State
4. Clemson
5. SMU
6. Florida
7. Baylor
8. Cincy
9. Gumps
10. Auburn
So the Wolfe values our strong wins more than it discounts our mishaps, and gives gumpy the benefit of the doubt for going 8-0. The Wolfe is a problem solver, so I fully trust his assessment that SMU, Baylor, and Cincinnati are better than Auburn and Gump face.

The big difference is that Auburn's aspirations for their year are down the crapper and Alabama's playing for another National Championship.

The same poll that lists Appy State at 11 but Oklahoma at 15?
I think I'd question any system that does that.

I dare Bama to add App state to their schedule. Saban's always bitching about teams not wanting to play them.
