out of CFP contention, unless miracles happen; if they win out it’s Sugar Bowl. But vs. who? Alabama and LSU are most likely CFP bound, especially if either one loses only to the other.
Oklahoma vs. Georgia?
Or, what if the winner of Florida/Georgia wins the SECCG. Oklahoma vs. Alabama/LSU in Sugar?

Oklahoma will get UGA, Florida winner imo, and the sugar bowl is meaningless

Technically you're correct, but that loss was the death knell for OUs playoff hopes. Even if they finish with one loss, they'll be behind any one-loss SEC or B1G team and also behind Oregon. They'd need a ton of help.

Probably Georgia. Should be an easy win for you guys.

They are in as a 1 loss conference champ over any potential 1 loss non-conference champ. November decides the playoffs, still a lot of football to be played.

We actually match up well with Oklahoma since their DLine plays on roller skates. Maybe by then Coley is fired and the GAs are calling plays offensively.

Why are Oklahoma fans posting these stupid questions on the SEC Rant. Your insecurity as a fan base is outrageous. You consider your program on par with Alabama, and you get steam rolled by K-State.
Go away. You're a pretender. It's the same story every year.

So you’re saying that a loss to Kansas State is more prestigious than a loss to LSU or Bama?
Nah
Nah

You are an A&M fan. You’re program is basically on par with Boise State, Southern Methodist, Cincinnati.

Tell me more about how Oklahoma is on par with Alabama by bringing up Texas A&M.
You're insecure and annoying. Your program is embarrassing and it has been for 20 years. Go away.

They aren't out of it.
Especially if K State winds up being ranked, which looks likely at this point

Where did I say Oklahoma was on par with Alabama? I think your comprehension is in dire need. Plus you have anger issues. Post with some maturity Lassie.

If OU was in the SEC West the past ten years, they'd be the 4th best team and wouldn't have won the SEC West even once.

They aren’t out of it. All they did is let Oregon become part of the discussion of 1-loss P5 Champs vs Bama/LSU loser.

quote:not at all. I'm saying that the committee has shown that they tend to value: P5 conferences, overall win-loss records, conference championships, head-to-head results, strength of schedule, and then comparison of results against common opponents in that order

That said, if 2 x P5 teams with like w-l records, no head to head game, and 1 has a Conf Champ and the other does not, the conference champion gets in.
The only thing that may affect that IMO is if Tua's injury affects the LSU game or he simply doesn't play, Bama loses a close game to LSU, and then Bama goes on to steamroll the rest of its schedule to the tune of 3+ score wins with a healthy Tua. But, even then, it is a longshot. I think the Conf Champ gets the nod.
