I'm not saying you're wrong, but can you explain what we saw Saturday? I understand them not setting up Mac for success, because who really thought he was going to play. But he came in and was just straight missing people...badly. When he did complete passes, the balls were too far in front of or behind the WRs for them to get any substantial YAC.

It may have been an outlier, but from what I saw from him Saturday, that dude shouldn't even be on Alabama's roster.

First half was clearly rust and not throwing and literally being tossed in mid-stream. I thought he was ok in the 2nd half on limited chances.

I'm curious to see how he plays this weekend.

Mac is a different QB from Tua. I think we will have a better gauge of his ability when the game plan has been set up with him in mind.
