I think people are underestimating Mac Jones. Taulia isn't leaps and bounds better than him in talent. Neither of these guys are Tua, but Mac can be solid, and has more experience than the true freshman, Taulia. I don't know who will be the starter when Tua leaves, but it isn't a foregone conclusion that it won't be Mac Jones.

Mack won't run much. Taulia is much more mobile than Mack and Tua.

Mack will do fine.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but can you explain what we saw Saturday? I understand them not setting up Mac for success, because who really thought he was going to play. But he came in and was just straight missing people...badly. When he did complete passes, the balls were too far in front of or behind the WRs for them to get any substantial YAC.

It may have been an outlier, but from what I saw from him Saturday, that dude shouldn't even be on Alabama's roster.
