Remember GetCocky, in their own minds Clemson fans and coaches are only rivaled by BYU in their purity and morality. They would never condone cursing, yelling or sticking fingers up the buttholes of their opponents.

1 more point I'd like to make about the UF game.

UF fans kept bringing up the face mask penalty on the long TD run Ya'll might want to leave that one alone. Why? Answer these questions:

What's the procedure for a holding call? 10 yard penalty from the spot of the foul. If just holding is called on UF, the touchdown comes off the board, and that puts the ball somewhere around midfield depending on when the refs say the holding started.

On the other hand, what's the procedure for offsetting penalties (which is the best case scenario for UF in this case if they want the facemask penalty)? From the NCAA rule book:
quote:

If live-ball fouls by both teams are reported to the referee, the fouls offset and the down is repeated. (A.R. 10-1-4:I and VII)
That negates the TD AND puts the ball back on the UF 25 yardline. So that's a net loss of 25 yards based on just holding alone.

FWIW, I was the first person to spot and call out the facemask in the game thread.
