Do you think we see a lot of Toney vs Georgia?

I am really excited to see him back on the field.
You guys think we end up seeing some wild cat to try and get a spark in the run game?
I hope he gets 8-10 touches personally. Jet sweep, screens, quick outs, wild cat. I think people outside of UF have forgotten just how good this kid is with the ball. You think Mullen will play it safe and limit his play time coming off the injury, or puts him in there and lets him do his thing?
Can you imagine having Toney, Pierce, Copeland, and Hammond on the field all at once? That would make any DC shite bricks trying to figure out where it's going.

Don't forget about Pitts, Swain and Perine. We have so many weapons. I think it is all about the OL continuing to get better, though.

We were running throwback qb passes to an injured trask so I am sure Mullen will do whatever it takes to win. I see tony getting a ton of snaps tho and even if he doesn’t touch the ball you can bet he will be involved with a lot of misdirection

Agreed. Though Georgia is pretty good with holding their gaps. UK had some success in the wild cat but with no throwing threat it couldn't do enough obviously. Toney is actually good at getting open too. Unfortunately we didn't get him the ball a lot with the old QB. Think he could really become scary good with Trask at the helm. If we can get a safety or LB on him at any point it's game over.
Just thinking about it. Jefferson and Grimes outside. Pitts inside with Toney and Hammond in the slots. I don't see how Georgia can stop it. They don't have nearly enough depth. Would end up with a safety or LB on someone and every one of them is a match up advantage to either.
Really, really excited about what we will see with Toney back in. Just opens up a ton.

Don’t forget your boy Copeland as well. He is really growing as a deep threat receiver

I had him in the other part. Only so many people can be on the field at once though lol

Haha sorry man I missed that. Damn I’m glad we have a bye week but the next 11 days are going to drag arse.

Honestly, he wasn't impressing me to start the season. He has a terrible habit of not following his blocks. The few times he tried to switch the field, he ended up having Franks become his lead blocker.
All for giving him the ball but he needs to follow the play. I don't want penalties and other people getting hurt.

He does go rouge a lot. It works sometimes and other times it backfires. Still. With Trask at QB I think we can do a lot more with Toney as a true receiver as well. Find ways to force a safety or LB on him. Make the defense choose between him and Pitts on the inside. Trask is able to see the mismatch pre play it seems. Toney has good hands and runs routes well, just didn't get the ball a lot because Franks did not like throwing in the middle of the field.
I am just excited to see him on the field now that the offense has improved substantially. Feel like it just adds a whole new fear for the defense.

I think he may get a couple of touches but I think Mullen is going to set up Georgia using toney as a decoy they may throw him a couple behind the line of scrimmage screen passes and when Georgia least expects it toney gets one and then passes to Pitts are gamble for a long play

If you were to put Toney and Pitts in the slot at the same time, linebackers would shite their pants.

That's what I'm thinking too. I expect him to be in motion a lot in the game. Georgia will have to show their hand somewhat to defend him presnap if he is moving.

He will get a couple touches and break one long, then he won’t see the field again.

Lol. Well I think not throwing over the middle hurt his touches too. He isn't as good on the outside as the other receivers. He is far more suited to exploit the middle of the field. Franks kind of didn't see the middle as well as Trask does.
