I dunno but if I was a highly recruited cool black dude from a big city, I’d probably be pretty turned off by the Branch Davidian/ Village People vibe at Texas A&M.

See that’s the kind of odd, manufactured, silly stuff that makes me realize some folks simply make stuff up, just “because.”
No clue what the Branch Davidian thing means.
And I love me some Village People!
We are very definitely a fun, easy going group who take our traditions and university seriously,
But hosting visitors is amongst our favorite part of that.
And you’ll never have a problem finding lodging, support. food, drink, whatever when you hang out.
We’re all family.
